Ok, I posted a poll a few days ago from SI, but this one is ESPN.com and the results will be aired. Scroll to the bottom right hand side of the page. We REALLY need votes... http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/index
We shouldn't be voting for JR in this poll. He doesn't have to prove anything. His demeanor and game management say it all, as does his ranking on the NFL prospects list. Ainge has lots to prove, I am unfamiliar with the Mich QB, and Leak is another Danny Wuerffel, success due to system. JR has nothing to prove.
Why? It's not a pole about who's the best QB. JR doesn't have anything to prove because he hasn't been over-hyped by the media.
The poll has been changed since I posted this. This morning the poll was what matchup this weekend draws your attention the most (something along those lines). Don't know if they'll put it back up or not.
LSU will play several more important games this season, but none more anticipated than this one. We won't play a higher ranked opponent, unless we earn the opportunity to do that come January. TODAY IS THE DAY! I will be eager to see us play Fla., Tenn., Bama, Arky; but not as excited as I am today. This could be a special year. People say its not our year, because all our hardest games are on the road. I don't buy that road deal. We could make it our year anyhow. The team has to come together to overcome the road speedbump. We've looked like worldbeaters against easy teams. Today tells us if we can hang in the upper echelon. I think we can. :geauxtige PS: I haven't been so excited since 2004 Sugar Bowl. I think the key is our running game. Our D will be fine, our passing attack will work if they can't just tee off on JaMarcus. The running game has to go. Most likely to succeed, Alley. He may get more carries than we think. Will there be a surprise from Scott or Williams or Vincent? We'll see. Come on 2:30!
Today is the day both Auburn and LSU find out just how good they are. It's astonishing how similar these two teams are to each other. May God defend the better team.
