LSU # 9 in NY Times Poll. Texas #2. Give me a freaking break, like the country wants to see a rematch of a 65-13 game. How in the hell can a team that gets beat by 52 points by the #1 team and gets drummed by Arkansas (middle of the Pac SEC team) be #2?
Well, I'm not much on New Yorkers either, but I don't think that has much to do with why Texas is ahead of LSU and USC. First off, the fact that Texas lost big twice means nothing, all that matters is that they lost. But I don't pretend to understand why Texas is Number 2, especially with the fact that they claim the points are based on how they compare to the No. 1 team, and that Texas lost to Oklahoma.
that whole poll is your opponents win loss record it seems. if that is the case, Texas' opponents do them a big favor. look at who they have played that have winning records..... Arkansas Oklahoma Oklahoma St Kansas St Nebraska Texas Tech also keep in mind we do not get credit for W. Illinois
We apparently do get some type of credit for Western Illinois because they list us as 10-1 instead of 9-1.
We'll jump to at least no. 5 next week. We're only 6 thousandths behind tenn, uga, uf, and ohio state. I supposed it's possible that florida will remain ahead of us with a win over florida state.
It's like they said on CBS, their football poll is about as embarrassing as the Jason Blair incident.
