It looks as if CFN has the only clue in the country that LSU by far, is the best team in the US. Because ESPN and CNN sure dont. GO Tigers:lsug:
CBS thinks so too Here's the link: http://cbs.sportsline.com/collegefootball/story/6789645 (stolen from another thread)
Interesting: CFN does weekly bowl projections. They don't see Miami running the table, opening the door for a USC team that (frankly) should be undefeated. That puts us in....Pasadena for a Rose Bowl match with Michigan, who they see as winning out (over Ohio St., obviously). Question: can a Florida, with wins over Miami, Georgia and LSU, reach the BCS top 10 with an 9-3 record? If so, does a win over FLA. in the SEC title game give us more "quality win" points (remember, we cannot get "duplicate points" for beating UGA again).
it is doubtful for us to receive any quality points for beating Florida in the SECCG...i just don't see Florida being able to get ranked high enough were a loss wouldn't plummet them out of the top 10 (especially since they already have THREE losses)...no way a team w/ losses will be in the top 10 now i still wouldn't mind us playing Florida in the SECCG b/c if Georgia loses this weekend they still have enough time to rebound to #6 or #5 in the nation which will still give us some good quality points however, if we play and beat Georgia in the SECCG they would more than likely drop to #7 or 8 giving us less quality points don't worry though b/c if we just keep winning we will be happy
The three losses were in the middle of the season and then the Tigers got on a roll. They weren.'t in the top 10 until after the Sugar Bowl
