LSU #3 in both polls now. Highest ranking since Nov. 27, 1961

    Subtract another whole point off our BCS. UGA moves up to 6 in one and 7 in the other, and will likely move up to 6 or 7 in the BCS, helping our ranking even more.

    Interestingly, of the 65 AP voters, 64 placed USC at #2. One placed them at #3. I don't know if LSU got that other second place vote, but I'm assuming we did.

    Remember, if we win out, we will have beaten 5 ranked teams with our only loss coming to a ranked UF team.

    If USC wins out, they will have only beaten two ranked teams with their only loss coming to an unranked Cal team.

    Yes, but they are USC, so the BCS subtracts one point based on the fact that they're from California and obviously a better team than LSU due to that fact alone...
