Georgia in the top-5 with a #1 vote? I don't get it. They have routinely failed in big games for years now and they lost a lot of people from last year, just like us.
Somehow, someway, when we all left Atlanta, it was Alabama, 1-a and Georgia, 1-b. The world seems to think our team is only 5 yards better. Nothing like a great loss on your SEC resume.
I HATE preseason polls. The reality is that most of the Top 10-15 teams play such weak schedules that year after year you can pencil-in most of these teams into post-season bowls...in AUGUST. No matter how they look or how "lucky" they are to escape close games (like ND-Stanford, or Bama-LSU/ Bama-GA) that as long as these Top Preseason teams win, they're in. Official (influential) polls should not come out before Oct. in my opinion.
