low confidence in Matt Mauck/Dean Blevins take on Mauck On the 10:00 news on Channel 9 here, Dean Blevins was giving his report from NO. He said that Nick Saban seemed to have confidence in every area of his team except at QB. Anybody know what he was talking about? He said he would elaborate in another report. Better check with Fly to make sure I heard what I think I heard? How about it Fly? GEAUX TIGERS!!!! LSU, 2003 TEAM OF DESTINY!!! :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: the Sooners BY THE WAY, ISN'T A FLY LIKE A COCKROACH? DON'T THEY BOTH LOVE TO EAT AND PLAY IN S%^T?
he aint the best in the world BUT he has done VERY well for us. I hope he has a GREAT day even better than ever before. mainly NO MISTKES or toss ups. he can do it if he has the proetction. If Saban didn't have confidence in him he would say so and wouldn't start him. This is another mdeia BS thing to de-rail the tigers. Always some spin, it sells, hell they got us talking about it didnt they? BS sells. just like the coaching job rumors.
Yeah this kinda BS should NOT be posted on here until you hear something much more concrete. And even then, I would not have posted it since it is only negative. We as LSU fans don't need to add to the distractions that everyone wants to throw our way. Saban saying he does not have the confidence in his QB like he does in the rest of his team....yeah right....makes a lot of sense doesn't it.... We need to be more responsible in our posting.....
Is anybody stupid enough to believe that Saban would say something like that? "Well, Trev, we had a great practice and everybody on the team is ready except for Matt Mauck. If he dosen't step it up and get on the same page with the rest of the team by the next practice I'm going to bench his ass."
Hanagrif reported on the same press conference and said Saban seemed very relaxed and in a very good mood. He said he sensed lots of confidence in him. I think the guy you are talking about maybe going for shock value. I'm leary when it comes to trusting in the media sometimes, they are always after ratings.
Doesn't Mauck have some ridiculous win percentage as a starting QB, like only 2 losses in 19 games. That would spur a big lack of confidence for me if I were Nick Saban.
Hey Fellas, This Post was Started From Moore, Ok? Look at the name and hometown. The guy is just trying to stir up crap.
Right. On. The. MONEY. Mauck has only lost 2 games as a starter. If THAT kind of record doesn't create confidence in your players, then I don't know what will! I think that reporter that said Saban didn't have confidence in his QB's, is digging for sh*t.
