Texas Tech freshman Martin Zeno scored 24 points in Tech's double overtime win over #2 Kansas last night. John Brady should be fired just for letting this guy get out of Sulphur, Louisiana last year.

It makes me sick to know that Louisiana's Mr. Basketball last year is played at Texas Tech and lighting it up instead of being on the LSU men's basketball team.

Can you imagine if we had him in our starting line-up. Zeno is a 6'5" 190lb. lefty who can flat out play. Brady should be fired for not landing him last year!!

    Starting line-up would be

    Tack Minor PG
    Antonio Hudson SG
    Martin Zeno SF
    Brandon Bass PF
    Glenn Davis C

With Darrell Mitchell, Ross Neltner, Darnell Lazarre, and Xavier Whipple off the bench.

I wonder if it was b/c Zeno is occupying the spot that Tasmin is going to assume when coming on campus :D

But yeah, Brady, or at least LSU basketball, cannot continue to keep letting Louisana talent leave. Zeno, Chris Duhon just to name some who could have helped tremendously.

Does anyone have the phone number of Steve Lavin?

But to give Brady credit, his team is playing really tough right now and has not given up, that does count for something. Well maybe not on this forum

No more excuses of scholarship sanctions. Some of the best talent is or has gotten away.

    Shan Foster (Bonnabel) - Vanderbilt
Martin Zeno (Sulphur) - Texas Tech
Paul Milsap (Grambling Lab) - Louisiana Tech
Clarence Moore (South Lafourche) - Georgia Tech
Hollis Price - (St. Augustine) Oklahoma
    Chris Duhon - (Salmen) Duke
    Kyle Hornsby - (Anacoco) Indiana
    Bernard King - (Gibsland Coleman) Texas A & M
Shannon Foreman (Southern Lab) - Memphis
    Nick Anderson - (Southern Lab) Texas A & M
Marcus Fizer - (Arcadia) Iowa State

These are just a few that got away. Plus I'm not counting all the freaking transfers that we had up and leave. It's horrific.

I been looking for a list of talent who left LA to play somewhere else. Nice job.

I agree, Brady (or the new coach) needs Miles' approach, put a wall up around Louisiana and keep the local talent at LSU.

That's quite a list, how have all of those players done? Everyone knows about Duhon, Price and Fizer.

Glad to hear about Zeno. I wish I was talented and luck enough to play for Bobby Knight.

Couple all that with Brady's coaching ability or lack thereof and we'd be maybe one or two games better at best. :hihi:

I too hate seeing top Louisiana players going elsewhere and starring. One of the biggest recruiting guffaws IMO was in football when Gerry DiNardo didn't bering Ed Reed to LSU. I don't care what the circumstances where, he should've been playing at LSU.

If you want to put this on anyone it will fall under our recruiter. Butch Pierre.

Just as I suspected, the title told me everything that would be in this thread. Nice job.

Why didn't Karl Malone play at LSU? Dale Brown should be fired...AGAIN! :dis:
