I don't know how these people are allowed to have driver's licenses!! I drive from Millerville to Zachary every morning and evening. It sucks, I know! The other day there was this huge beast of a woman driving a Geo Metro driving 55 mph (hold the laughs til the end, it gets better). She was in the left lane talking on the phone eating Popeye's Fried Chicken. The box lunch was on her breasts!!! (you can laugh now) People, the left lane is the passing lane, NOT YOUR PERSONAL DRIVEWAY!! Damn, how simple is it to pay attention to your mirrors! THAT'S WHY THEY PUT THEM ON YOUR CAR!! Another thing! The lane that gets you ON the interstate is called an ACCELERATION LANE. It does not mean stop at the end of the lane then check for oncoming traffic. You should be anticipating the traffic as soon as you get on the lane/ramp. If you see someone coming on the interstate and you feel that you guys will meet the same spot and the same time, GET IN THE LEFT/MIDDLE LANE ....BE COURTEOUS! OR How about the jack@$$es who slow down because the want to see how flat that guy's tire is pulled off on the shoulder? Either pull off and help him OR KEEP MOVING!!!!!
Yes, I was working in Miami for 3 weeks and I tell ya. Coming from the airport in Lauderdale going to Miami. You better know where you going because those intersecting overpasses are crazy! Going back to Baton Rouge. If there was another hurricane that caused Baton Rouge to evacuate, we'd all be dead. Our city has no type of evacuation or emergency plan.
OT, I found this and it has your name ALL OVER it. I hope it's not the same link as you're posting- I can't view yours from work. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070515/ap_on_re_us/road_rage
Yeah it is the same link but thanks for thinking about me in hell!! Now BACK to Baton Rouge...(jeez some people, huh?) Last time I was home the traffic WAS horrible. My mom says that it has been that bad since Katrina. My question though...is there any hope for this to die down ever?
The illegal Mexicans in Texas are the worst. Unfamiliar with the rules of the road? Check. No insurance coverage? Check. Always driving about 15mph less than the speed limit out of fear of being pulled over and deported? Check. The day that they did their "strike" and stayed home from work was the best traffic day in the history of DFW.
