LSU beat Tulane in roundball...was down by 11 in the 1st but came back for the win...:bball: Side note...did anyone see the story on Sportscenter about some Division III team winning 201-74?
Some kid had 21 threes. No doubt he was cheating somehow. :yelwink2: I mean, is being over 100 enough for one to call off the dogs? :dis:
This is unfair! The game should be forfeited because they hurt the other kids feelings, pride! Just using some logic that seems to be out there today! The kid that hit 21 threes shouldn't be allowed to play amateur basketball!:nope:
Come on guys, it's D-III correct? Who really cares? If the guy hit 21 threes without anyone contesting it, who's fault is that? That's 63 points by himself--just on threes--I'm sure he must have had a lot of twos as well. That still allows room for the other players to score, which doesn't make the outcome look that outlandish. Okay, okay it is outlandish, but still... Back to the LSU-Tulame game... I'm glad the guys stepped it up the second-half but Texas and Texas A&M are going to be too much for this team to handle right now, IMO.
I dont think that it matters what division... You dont coach your team like that... What was the score at the half? That first half of tulame must have been a bit sloppy...I didnt get to watch it. Lets bring that second half play home to face A&M
The Tigers are still allowing too many points in the paint. Without Tyrus, there isn't a dominant shot blocker anymore. Someone has to step up and protect the inside. Tulane had something like 32 points under the goal.
