Moses was only used on special teams, so that should not be too big a loss. Yoder never played at LSU, so you can't lose something you never had. Haywood is a coach, and the coaches don't actually play, so we'll see if there is actually a big drop off in RB production. Guys like Toefield and Davis can make a lot of coaches look good.
Wasnt he the Special Teams coach as well. The same special teams that had several punts blocked, and had about 650 TD's or long gains by Double Returned because of Penalties. Now as you said, coaches dont play and I doubt he coached players to get penalties, but lets be honest Our Special Teams were not the best last year. Corbello, and Double D is what made the motor run. Maybe a change is good. I wish him well. He will be missed, I am sure players really liked him. But I am sure Saban will find a great replacement.
Travis Jones is named as new LSu asst. coach New coach is named on LSU sports site: http://www.lsusports.net/article.cfm?ref=00057B60-2348-1E23-A348809F187EFD7F
I have been unimpressed with our special teams punting skills for years now Maybe the change will do us good.
