Looks like Bush was wired for the second debate, too.

Just to throw some kindlin on the fire...With the security risks associated with being the president and making public appearances, there is a good chance that he was wearing some type of kevlar under his suit.

Or, maybe he gets easily dehydrated and was sporting a camelpak.

The White House has stated that Bush wore no body armor. They also stated there was "nothing" under Bush's jacket, despite obvious photographic evidence. This may explain why the rules insisted upon by Bush handlers for the first debate forbade lapel microphones or any photos to be taken from behind the podiums (which the network ignored).

    What's the frequency, Karl?

when i talk abot religion i talk about how much people delude themselves in order to believe something. i often say that people will go out of their way to believe something crazy and stupid, for no other reason than it seems kinda entertaining. here is a fine example. conspiracies are really fun to believe. it always nice to delude yourself about some secret thing. the way i see it, conspiracy theorists are mostly overgrown children.

again it leads me to one of my favorite quotes:

"The most common of all follies is to believe passionately in the palpably not true. It is the chief occupation of mankind" - mencken

Quite a controversy. It makes John Kerry's 20 year voting record in the Senate, his constant flip-flopping on major issues, and his despicable anti-American actions after returning from Vietnam pale by comparison. Does anyone know if GW suffers from the chronic condition of noassatol? It could explain why he didn't want any pictures from behind. Also, GW is a big baseball fan, maybe he was listening to a game? Or maybe he really was wired and George Soros is the guy who tells him what to say? No, wait, that would be John Kerry.

They are probably lying. He's worn a bulletproof vest since 9/11. If it's not then his handlers are the biggest morons in history. Why give him a huge wire that looks exactly like a bullet proof vest, when he can have small one like the Secret Service? His handlers can't be morons because they planned 9/11 and manufactured years of evidence into some huge war for oil. You have to be smart to do that.
