We played Auburn, Fla, Tennessee and Arkansas and if I remember correctly
they all were in the top ten at the time?
Even if one of those teams was top 25 I don't think this has ever happened
    before meaning SEC?
Playing three or four teams in the top ten?

I thought when we played them Auburn was 2, Fla. was 5, Arky was 5, Tenn. was 9, all on the road.

Before the season I picked us 10-2 and we're 10-2. I am a happy camper. We were very close to being 11-1, but that's football, especially on the college level. I'm a happy camper, with the team and the coaches.

Auburn was #3 when we played them. All of the SEC teams we played on the road were ranked in the top 10.

At the start of the season I picked LSU to go 10-2, losing to Auburn and Florida. Not bad.

I said LSU would go 10-2 before the season started so I'm happy with my realistic expectations this year. And a Rose bowl birth would be awesome. It's just a damn shame LSU should be 11-1 and playing in Atlanta.

Yes, indeed!!! 10-2 is nothing to sneeze at, and the coaching staff must be commended in splitting the 4 road games, considering we lost the first 2.

agreed but I would also say the old LSU would've lost a game that they were
suppose to win like Ole Miss for instance.

LSUs schedule may very well have been the toughest road schedule in history. Playing 4 top ten teams on the road is amazing. Great season to end with only 2 losses. The silver lining here is that we are returning a lot of talent and should have another great recruiting class coming in. On top of that, all our tough games are going to be in Death Valley. With a BCS Bowl win LSU will start the season in the top 5 for sure, maybe top 3 with USC obviously being number one in the preseason polls.

i was hard on miles a few times this season but you have to think most fans would've been happy with 10-2 iwth the schedule we had (at the start of the season).

the road slate was a killer and if not for tenn at #8 when we played them all the other opponents were in the top 5.

even if we get screwed by the bcs, the tigers played a bcs worthy season.
