It used to be real nice to turn the radio on in the morning comute and listen to john fines local sports show.Matt kenedy from 1150 wjbo was the one to pull the plug on both morning shows due to getting more advertising money without even letting the local guys try and match the price.Didn't even let them go back on the air and let everyone know about what was happening, just let them know on a friday that it was their last day. Here's some contacts if yu want to try to get our local sports back [email protected],[email protected].:angryfire

I'd rather ESPN radio to be honest... I never liked John Fine's show...or scrappy's for that matter. :hihi:

I do like Songy though, and I can tolerate Ott.

I used to like Songy and Ott, but Fine was agonizing to listen to and the show before Songy was ok once it wasnt Blake Andrews solo, but still left alot to be desired. I felt like that show had alot of growing to do. Surprised to hear it is over. Glad Songy and Ott are still around. Too bad we can't get a decent morning host. I would have liked Songy's intro act to have more time to flourish, but Andrews was as bad as Fine (actually worse).

I really miss waking up on monday morning after a win,or loss and having a local radio station to listen to.John fine and jason vanbuskerg just played the good cop- bad cop thing to try and pass the time just like any other hosts do.I just liked listening about the local teams that's all.

I miss that morning show too. Don't really care who is on at that time of the morning, as long as it was local sports coverage it was great. Can't really listen to the mid-day shows so it makes it even worse now.

I thought John Fine was ANNOYING! Blake Andrews and his sidekick for the 11 oclock show was rather boring, and misinformative at times. Both shows are not missed by me. I agree I would like hearing a local show in the morning, just not those shows.

I listen to Buddy and Jimmy Religiously at work and in the car.

You will not hear any support from me for bringing Jon Fine or Blake back.

    I enjoyed scrappy at times...

He was decent to listen to in the morning. Jon Fine was like fingernails on a chalkboard.

I'd much rather have Mike and Mike in the morning and the Herd after it. To me, those are the two best national sports radio shows. Fine sucked.

    Songy and Ott are enough.
