LMAO @ Comment in Shreveport Times column (re: D Bowe)

This is from today's Times, an article about football preparations for the Peach Bowl.

Pretty dry stuff, but this note at the end made me laugh out loud:

:rofl: Too bad for D Bowe that catching the football is, uh, about 80% of a WR's job description (20% blocking, of course).

Bowe, despite the drops, also made HANDS DOWN the most big plays for us this season

That was a funny one-liner.

It would have been more accurate if Bowe had a fumbling problem, but the thought of someone tossing the dog at him is bringing a smile to my face. The thought of someone tossing a cat to him, and having him drop it is making me laugh.

 

I KNOW it was a joke, and I know it was all in fun, but walking around campus, I wouldn't joke around and tell Bowe to his face to put on stickem or something like that...

I'm sure it made him feel great to hear a member of the media chastizing his hands in public

 

being we are making lists:

1. You Timberlake picture is weak
2. It isn't Bowe's fault Russell telegraphs
3. I know it was a joke
4. Bowe is SOOO much more of an adult than I am... He is a whole 2 years older than me... He is a CLASSMATE... That is why I thought it was stupid...

If JaMarcus was playing pool in the bowling alley and he lost a game, would you tell him: "YOU LOST THAT ONE JUST LIKE YOU DID THE SECCG! HAHAHA"

No you wouldn't so why should this media guy rub in Bowe's face that he has had problems with his hands this past season?
