What the hell? Houston Nutt said he's leaving his "dream job" so that Arkansas can bring back the Arkansas fanbase united? :huh: Who came up with that lame excuse for Arkansas?
As crazy as that sounds, it actually makes sense. He has turned down offers elsewhere and stayed at Arkansas. He loves it there. However, the fan base really has been divided for a while now over him being head coach at Arky. He, as much as anyone, would like to see all Arky fans take pride in the program.
I don't know, it just sounds fishy. Maybe it's the rumor (grain of salt in hand) that he's heading to Ole Miss.
It will be interesting to see where Nutt ends up, but even more interesting to see who replaces Nutt.
I hope he doesn't go to Ole Miss. If he does he will make their program a lot stronger pretty fast. He's a heck of a good game day coach, especially for big games. And he always plays LSU tough. And Ole Miss would love to hire a coach who just beat #1 LSU. That would be a big selling point to the Ole Miss fan base.
Very true. I can't wait to see what he can do outside of Arkansas, especially after hearing years of "if he had the talent he'd really be something".
