Excited about purchasing a 60" Vizio Smart LED TV, the one listed on Wal Mart, refurbished for $698. Saved an extra $14 by going through fatwallet.com rebate site, and another $20 joining freeshipping.com website for 30 days, so ultimately $664. I'll end up getting the extended warranty just to be safe.

I know it won't be the best picture vs Samsung or LG, but will be more than adequate, I just wanted a huge screen for the upcoming football season. Previously had a 47" inch screen, so this will be quite an upgrade size wise.

Debated that vs the LG 55" LED 3D TV for $780, but ultimately smart TV with a keyboard on the remote was much more important than 3D. Until they get extensive 3D programming on TV, it won't be worth it for me, especially since I don't own a 3D Blu-ray player, which would be added cost overall. Has support for DLNA, which I might take advantage of as well. Might even get that Google Chromecast to download google apps/games to my TV, since it's offering 3 months of netflix free, making it virtually free at $35.

Haha, the ad below my post is advertising TV repair. That's hilarious.

About a year ago I bought a 60" Sharp Aquos, 55'' LG LM6700, and 55'' Samsung 3D which I think is a top of line 6000 series or lower line 7000 series.

I like the LG the best and Samsung 2nd and the LG was cheaper with higher quality components and features.

Got my dad the top of the line 7000 series Samsung and it would top all of mine.

I prefer to go to sports bars and watch the game with lots of other people....my favorite is the Abita Brew pub. I don't have a TV.

    ( I drink iced tea there now-a-days)

46" Sony Bravia. It's in a smallish room 10 feet from the recliners where a bigger screen would be overkill . . . but the video quality is exceptional.

I have a 40ish Bravia in my bedroom. I really like it, but in the living room we have a 51 Samsung smart TV. It blows away any other TV I have owned.

Motorola, Quasar, color TV console. Rectangular picture tube that measures 23" diagonal screen. Still cleans up excellently with just a damp cloth. Still have the original rabbit ears, but I went cable years ago.

50 in Panasonic viera (included with surround sound system when we bought the house) plasma in the living room and 46in Samsung LCD in the family rom. I usualy watch on the plasma due to having cable HD box whereas the other has basic.
