Update, looks like another Ahab is aiming his harpoon at Moby W. And he's also a self loathing Jew. Wonderful. http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=35535
Speaking of Ahab, let's not forget the clinton haters including, Dan Burton (and vince foster), Larry Klayman, The American Specator, Ted Olsen and the Arkansas Project, an unrelenting attempt to cast him from office they day he took over(by prominent republican politicians, in contrast to fringe groups) and the list goes on and on and on. BTW, that Scarborough on CNBC with the show, the ex congressman who's aide died in his office (with nary an investigation) - what would sticky dan burton had said if scarborough were a democrat (when he took time away from the the bedroom himself)???? Speaking of dead aides, whatever happeed to the Condit case?
Re: Re: Like Captain Ahab and his white whale... What did happen with that? With all the new breaking news every day about Scott Peterson, Kobe Bryant, ect. the Condit case seems to be lost in the shuffle. Not that this in any way proves that Gary Condit is guilty of anything but the impression I got from his TV interviews he reminded me of the actor who played the used car salesman in the movie Fargo who hired a couple of sleezeballs to kidnap his wife. Again, it dosen't prove anything but there was a strong similarity of facial expressions and mannerisms between Condit and the Fargo actor's character. And then there is that guy Durst. Multimillionare cross dresser who moves to a $300 a month apartment in Galveston. Admits killing his neighbor but claims self defense. It comes out today that the reason he chopped up his victims body was because he didn't think he could carry the whole body at once to dump into Galveston Bay. He kept the head though but was denied permission to board a plane to New York with the head in his possession. You hear stuff like this and it makes you wonder why the tabloids like the National Enquirer, The Globe and the Weekly World News have to make stories up. The real world is weird enough.
Last I heard, Condit was grilled heavily, but Chandra Levy's death remains an open case. And despite all the wild conspiracy theories that abound, I haven't seen a shred of evidence that Vince Foster's death was anything but a suicide. As for Clinton hatred, while there were some on the right wing that despised him, this was the general consensus I got from hearing all the big GOP leaders speak about him during the 90s, and it is generally my same view of the man; they hated his policies, they hated his tactics, they hated his lack of personal morality, they hated all of that about his public persona. At the same time, however, they admired and respected, and were often in awe, of the man's political prowess. Friend and foe alike acknowledge that Bill Clinton was one of the greatest politicians and political speakers of all time. They did go after him hard, but it was part of the challenge, to see if they could ever outsmart him, to see if they could ever "get him." And of course, they never could. The radical Left vs. Bush, however, is different. They don't just hate his politics or policies, they don't just question his moral fortitude, and they certainly don't have any respect for his political abilities or for anything about him. It is raw, seething, uncompromising, all-encompassing, deeply personal hatred of the man, everything about him, and everything he stands for, or that they think he stands for. The man is even compared to Hitler and Stalin by idiots like this George Soros. If Soros were a fringe aberration, that would be one thing. But many, many people, in Europe, Canada, and the U.S., think the way he does about W. And comparing this to the way Clinton was thought of by the fringe Right, I see some similarities. I just can't remember too many parades of tens of thousands of people after Waco waving signs that said Clinton=Stalin. Which leads me to believe the Far Left hates Bush much worse than the Far Right hated Clinton. I wonder if, from now on, national politics will always be this polarized? I'm an optimist, and I like to see the political debate as a difference of opinion, where Democrats and Republicans, Lefties and Righties, all want us to get to the same place, but just have different ideas about how to get there. Instead, we have a whole lot of people out there, on both sides, who see this as literally a struggle of Good vs. Evil, where victory means the chance to brutally kick down the "evil" opposition and defeat means imminent doom for the world. I don't really like it that way.
There is a very real struggle between good and evil but it is not being waged between Democrats vs Republicans or liberals vs. conservatives. I can't believe that anybody who witnessed what happened on September 11, 2001 dosen't believe that there is a very real evil prescence in the world that will go to any lengths and use any method no matter how morally repugnant to attempt to destroy the way of life of all freedom loving people whether they are Democrats, liberals, Republicans or conservatives. We will never know how Al Gore would have responded to the 9-11 situation. I would hope that he would have risen to the occasion the way the George W. Bush did but I thank God that I won't have to find out the hard way. We are in a war against terrorism that we can't afford to lose. What will the response be from the liberal apologist Hollywood crowd like Michael Moore and Barbara Streisand be if suitcase nukes simultaneously destroy large parts of New York, Washington, D.C., Chicago and L.A.? Think it can't happen? It can and will if efforts to seek out and eliminate those who would and could do it are hamstrung by excessive concern about the so called "rights" of non American citizens who are in reality enemy combatants. Hey Mr Liberal, lets say you live in a multi story apartment dwelling in New York City. Your next door neighbor who you don't know or associate with happens to be an Islamic fanatic suicide bomber plotting to blow up your building. If the Homeland Security forces discover his plot and "terminate him with extreme predjudice" are you going to complain that his "rights were violated" by a right wing govenment?
Re: Re: Like Captain Ahab and his white whale... The Scarbrough case was thoroughly investigated at the state and local level and the medical examiner determined the cod to be of natural causes, as I remember it was a heart condition. Of course, that doesn't help those obsessed with the legacy of Bill Clinton at the expense of their own legitimacy, but what's some hysterics when a hero's legacy is at stake? As far as Condit, he was railroaded by California Democrats and is still wondering where he gets his reputation back?
