All TigerEducated does is bash Brady for the players he made quit or had transfer out.

That's all he discusses about LSU basketball.

Thug, this; Thug, that. Mr. Tiger Educated!

Every program, even Saban's program has players leave or quit. Examples.

    Jeff Cook - transfer
    Vernon Russell - ?
    Derron Parquet - transfer
Jason Daire - never showed up
    Ryan Gilbert?
LaBrandon Toefield - left early for NFL
Trev Faulk - left early for NFL
    Rick Clausen - transferred
    Jonathan Banks - ?
    Blair Irvin - ?
    Tory Collins - ?
    Chris Vincent- transferred
    Lester Ricard - trasferred
    Dominique Owens - ?
    Daniel Leon - ?
John Paul Jones - never showed up.

The list goes on and on.

What is your reply to this "TigerEducated"?

What a foolhearty message. I don't know what was typed here about Brady, a fine man, but the lame argument you present speaks for itself. In fact, it make this post unnecessary!

To compare people leaving a football program to those leaving a basketball program doesn't work. A couple of the people you named up there left early to go to the NFL for $$$...can you fault Saban for that? The only LSU basketball player I recall leaving early for the NBA is Swift.

Clausen transfered because he saw the writing on the wall after we signed our two stud QBs last year. he will probably never play at Tennessee either.

Keep in mind there are three and four deep at most positions in football, along with a 60 man roster, making it harder for people to play, thus them transfering to another school to satisfy their egos. Basketball, on the other hand, has 13 or 14 on the bench, meaning it is more likely you will get PT.

I am not defending TE, but I see little validity in your point.

FYI.. Wilson... TE has made reference that off the court antics by our coach is also his beef as well as wasted scholarships. I believe that Bastile was merely showing a relationship to what has gone on in Saban's program in regard to players either quiting or transfering.

TE has yet to produce anything on this board that would reveal why this coach is unfit to run this program. I have posted before that it is coward, chicken *&#% and irresponsible to personally slander someone with heresay and inuendo. I have called on him to this subject to produce this god awful act that he did to embarrass our basketball program and our university. I think many of us know that TE has nothing on this but he continues to use this as his mantra on why our coach is unfit to lead this basketball program.

I have also posted that it would in my opinion be unwise of TE or anyone else to personally slander someone without cold hard facts. I would hope the administrators of this forum would agree with this statement.

I agree Mesquite Tiger that comparing Football to basketball is in a sense not apples to apples. If you look at any basketball program in the country, very few teams play with a rotation of more than 8 players. Look at box scores when conference play starts (this is after blowout games in preseason) and you will see very few minutes played by players after the 7th or 8th man. This causes discontent with players not getting playing time which breeds players transfering. This has created a nightmare for coaches that are only allowed to sign 8 players in a 2 year period of time.

Many good college basketball players dream of playing in the NBA. The draft is only 2 rounds which creates only 56 potential spots. What is very interesting is that there was only 1 team in the NBA this year that didn't have at least 2 international players on their roster.

Not so fast! This was a topic of conversation on the radio the other day. Apparently UT needs a QB in a bad way. They arent sure who will take Clausens (Casey) place next year, but some people are saying that Rick is the best they have. Their feeling was that they needed to get a big time QB recruit this year or they would be in trouble.

This is Tennessee's big three QB recruits for this year. I am not sure if any have commited yet. Maybe someone can look them up on Rivals for more info.

    QB
    Brian Brohm
    6-3/200/4.65
    Louisville, KY

    John Parker Wilson
    6-2/180/4.7
    Hoover, AL

    Brent Schaeffer
    6-3/190/4.5
    Deerfield Beach, FL

We all saw what Clausen was made of last year...I, for one, was not very impressed.

If you don't know what was typed about Brady then you are not sufficiently informed to criticize Basile Tiger's post. He merely makes the point that having players leave your team does not make you unworthy of being a coach. Tiger Educated constantly alludes to grievous acts perpetrated by Brady but he has yet to substantiate any of his allegations. One of his biggest complaints is that Brady recruits unworthy players and runs off the good ones. In the future, Wilson, read before commenting. I don't plan to educate you on every topic.

I think John Brady was a risky hire that has paid great dividends for the program. Things were in bad shape, and at 5-0 indications are that things are getting better. I don't think I need to be sufficiently informed on TE's allegations to point out the foolishness of Basile Tiger's post.
