Saban will truly become Satan in the hearts and souls of the LSU nation. "I would think it would add something to the rivalry," LSU coach Les Miles understated on purpose for emphasis with a devilish smile. "I think, knowing our fans, we'd sure enjoy it when Alabama visits." And how much would Les Miles enjoy a head-to-head meeting with his revered and oft-worshipped predecessor? "Ohhh, I kind of want to hold on that comment," Miles said smiling. This is the kind of statement I enjoy hearing from our coach.:thumb: http://www.shreveporttimes.com/apps...20070101/SPORTS0402/701010306/1036/SPORTS0202
way to answer the questiosn right, but once again, congrats to the media for being jackasses Coach takes the team to the Sugar Bowl and is trying finally to get his place in the sun at LSU, and even still, he has to take questions about the "All-Mighty One"... disrespectful.
Between these quotes and the ones in the Advocate and NOLA, I am growing more and more appreciative of CLM compared to CNS. I supported CNS leaving, but knew what he knows now, and that he would regret it...so much for the bigger challenge. It will be sweet to see CLM beat him more times than not. FOREVER LSU! !!
I dont care where Saban goes, or what team he coaches...He'll always be the coach that brought LSU back, and made players believe in themselves. Without his motivation, LSU would have not believed they could be National Champs. So He's one of the greatest coaches in LSU history, and #1 in my book...Miles has done a great job..."Post Saban". But all the players are Saban's recruits. Miles can only match Saban wins, and NC run.
And he can surpass Saban in wins and championships too. Especially in wins. The championships will be harder to come by. I don't think Miles will be able to win an SEC championship in a season where he loses 3 SEC games like Nick was able to as the West won't often have a 3 loss team going to the SEC CG.
