Is it just me or did Les graduate from the Sarah Palin School of Public Speaking?
I mean, I like the man, but crap it's hard to follow him when he's interviewed.
    "Effort was quality."
    What the hell?

I know it's trivial and I'm really just joking but a few words of insight and eloquence would sure make me feel better.

I like the fact that he doesn't sound like a robot. I look forward to every halftime interview just so I can hear him scream SEE YA at the end of it.

Here we go again with another picayune slam on Palin. Boy, she has really gotten in some people's heads. She speaks to the common people in their own language. That is just one reason she clicks with people so well. Good for her.

Would it have been better if he said the George Bush School of Public Speaking?

But really, Miles wasn't blessed with the gift of gab. His lack of eloquence in speech makes him sound silly, not to mention all of the "I would have changed only two defensive plays against UGA," "the defense was ready for all of Florida's stuff," "Against Ole Miss, the defense played really well" stuff.

His version of "you betcha"?:D Seriously, I always get a little nervous when they start interviewing him. He's like the uncle you really love but you don't really want your friends to talk to him too much cuz you don't know if he's gonna embarrass you or not.

Which language? I'm common and I couldn't follow her. :D
If she could have put together a sentence she might be VP elect right now.
I'm not bashing her politics, just commenting on public speaking ability when being interviewed.

    CLM's favorite word is "QUALITY".

I think his issues are two-fold: 1) he's trying real hard NOT to give out any information, 2) he's not a great speaker.

    I love 'em though!

What made him sound silly was not his "lack of eloquence" but his statements about the defense. Miles does not have a big problem expressing himself as Bush does.

If you could not understand her, then you were not listening. She speaks very plainly and very clearly.
