The defense gave up some big plays, but when the offense continually doesn't produce there will come a point against solid competition where the defense will break.
Just for the record, I'm giving Miles a passing grade for the season and the benefit of the doubt for our offensive performance as I (and I alone?) perceive it. I'm a tiny bit worried about our team discipline, but I'll give Miles a pass on that as well because nothing too embarassing has gone down. I'm looking forward to next season under Coach Les Miles.
He did win last year, but he hasn't won consistently & he hasn't shown an ability to win when it counts (for championships). Ultimately, how you do during the season is only important in getting you to the post-season. That is where a coach & team are truly judged, although perhaps unfairly.
