All Les Miles haters need to sit down and shut up and give this a man chance and stop bashing him. I mean hell i dont see you out there in his shoes. I guess thats why hes the coach and your not. GO TO HELL LES MLES HATERS :geauxtige :champs:
I agree. Les Miles has proved himself to be an excellent coach. The SECCG was a mess but Saban had some bad games himself. Miles came into a tough situation and took his team as far as anyone could expect given Katrina and his being new to LSU and the SEC. I will be totally sold if he starts Flynn next year. Flynn looks like another Matt Mauck. By the way, Les Miles sure looks like he should have been coach of the year. Spurrier's team blew a 21 point lead and lost to Missouri in the Independence Bowl. Missouri???? I am happy we have our coach.:geauxtige :tigerhead
The TEAM finally played a complete game.......for whatever reason. We needed it, the players needed it and most all, Les needed it. Good for everybody. We'll see from here.
When I played football in HS, ( I played nose guard and OL ) it made a REAL big difference in how we played if we thought we could win. What made us think we could win? confidence. Where did we get that? The leader, 9 out of 10 times, it's the QB. consistancy as it turns out makes other players THINK they can win, then it snowballs. yes this actually happens, no I didn't invent it. I will take credit though.
I'm hear to speak up. I might have been wrong about Miles. The Tigers came out to play tonight. I stand corrected....for now. I hope with the loss of I believe 6 starters on offense and 6 starters on defense we can rally again next year. Great finish to your first year Les! :geauxtige
My take on tonight's performance is that it started off with the offensive line playing up to par and coupled with the nice runs by the real (healthy) Addai. That helped to establish the running game and helped take pressure off Flynn. Of course, when Flynn started doing things right with successful connections with his receivers and checking off at the lines, and so on, everything came together and as you said, snowballed. Once they started clicking to near perfection, they're unstoppable. ________ Avandia Class Action
