Saw a dude wearing a Fear the Hat shirt, an LSU cap, LSU crocs and LSU shorts at OLOL yesterday. Nice to see people decked out more than a month before gameday.

How come Saban has to open his big mouth? LSU needs to hurt Bama this year. A loss to Bama this year could really hurt the future of LSU football in terms of recruiting and pride. If there were one game I would hate to lose this year it would be to sellout Saban. Miles has to get it done or Tiger fans are going to call for his head.

Saban said, "The players that you saw play last night for LSU were primarily players that were recruited when I was there."

He wants it both ways. Wants credit for what he accomplished with the players who were already there when we hired him, and also for the accomplishments of the ones he left behind when he ran out.

Most knowledgeable football fans already know he recruited well- as has been stated many times, player development factors in too. The fact that he feels the need to say the obvious shows how his ego has to be fed and manifests one of his notso good qualities.

I agree with you though.....it does get irritating. Hopefully we can put the brakes on some of that soon. :thumb:
