Good morning all from DC. I got a pleasant surprise this morning when I opened up my Monday edition of the Washington Post and found that this story was the lead headline across the front of the Sports section complete with a color photo.

That's right. In a town that covers VT, Maryland, the Redskins, Nationals, etc., our Tigers are the lead story. I haven't felt so close to home in a long time. :thumb:

The stage is set for tonight . . .:geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige

Nice read, though I consider Va Tech jumping us in the latest poll to be quite an unpleasant surprise.

    That'll change soon enough.

Can't say that Va Tech jumping us in the polls is unexpected. They've played four games already and two conference games. The Hokies crushed Ga. Tech on Saturday. Now that being said, if the LSU-Tenn game would've been Saturday and the Tigers win then LSU would still be #3.
