We've all read about how both parties have their lawyers ready to challenge results in the battleground states. Lawsuits have already been filed in Florida. There are others arguing that people who registered late or incorrectly should still be allowed to vote anyway.

Why is this only going on in the battleground states? Why are there only claims of unfairness or voter fraud in Florida, Ohio...

Is there no voter fraud in New York? Does no one care about the disenfranchised voters in California? No cries for people being unable to vote in Texas?

These claims and lawsuits obviously have nothing to do with keeping elections honest. They are exposed for what they truly are - cheap attempts to win an election by any means necessary - the true will of the people be damned. :cuss:

Just wait and see the mess in New Mexico, a battleground state. The courts have ruled that new voters, except those registered be mail, don't have to show a valid ID at the polls. You walk into the polling place and claim to be whomever you want to be without any verification!

    This will get ugly...

This has to be the democrats at work, as this is the character of their entire party. Forget playing by the rules, and doing what everyone else had to do. Rules be damned eh Democrats??
These are the same people who tried to disqualify military votes in the 2000 campaign.

How screwed up is this system of ours... you have to show your ID to the police in order to prove who you are.. You have to show your ID to get on a plane. However, you do not have to prove who you are, or even that you are registared in order to cast your vote.

Yeah, but just think how easy it will be, when the socialist do take over, and your vote is cast for you. :dis:

I know there is an argument that someone might be disenfranchised by not being able to afford a state ID card from DMV and thus not be allowed to vote... But come on, can someone really make an effective argument against having to show an ID in order to cast your vote?

Rex, Crawfish this ought to be right up your alley. Please convince me no ID to vote is a good idea.

    Ahhhhhh...

How I long for the day when mob leaders would promise entire metro areas to an aspiring presidential candidate's rum-running father...

...so that they could win the election on the narrowest of margins...

...in return for leniency when the aspirant reached office...

...only to take dude out when he and his brother weren't so compliant...

...and have dude anoited a saint despite his personal and
    political flaws...

Ahhhhh, the good old days of democracy....

They don't have all this crap happening in non-swing states because it's a waste of money. Even if they find out that more people voted for one candidate than was counted - the electoral votes would have wound up the same.
