Saw this on the Herbstreit chat a few minutes ago. Thought it might be of interest. Nephi (Gainesville, FL): Kirk the GameDay Home Depot site says this week is the final show from the road, but last week (at the Ark-SC game), you three were talking about going to more sites later. What does this mean? Are you guys done traveling this year? Kirk Herbstreit: (3:33 PM ET ) That's news to me. In fact, I think it's false information. As far as I know, we will be at Ann Arbor or Oxford next week, depending on what happens this weekend. We will probably be on the road the 29th and Dec. 6 as well. http://proxy.espn.go.com/chat/chatESPN?event_id=4298
Do y'all think that means that if (when) LSU beats bama, then Gameday will be in Oxford? Tigers 31 elephants 0 :geaux:
Gameday is always talking about going to the most locations possible and visiting places they haven't been. This week they will be in Columbus for the 2nd time this year. The have already covered 1 game of both Purdue and Ohio State. If they choose to go to Ann Arbor for the 2nd time next week and cover Ohio State for the 3rd time in a year and 2nd consecutive week I'm going to be pissed.
I think that's exactly what it means. All the more reason to want Ohio State to lose this weekend since it would make the Mich-OSU game less attractive. They would be talking up Ole Miss and Eli like there's no tomorrow, but who cares? The more national exposure LSU gets the next 4 weeks, the better our chances of moving up in the opinion polls. Let all of America see what we Tiger fans have known for weeks: that this is one very good football team.
Lee would have no choice but to pick us. Ole Miss doesn't have a mascot! He would have to wear the Tiger head again!
SoLa in NoIll....That's classic right there.... As I scrolled down the thread, when I saw what marc and dd said, I was thinking, "That's more of the Chicago Cubsfan Steve Bartman look"... Great minds think alike...
I think that the will be in Ann Arbor if both Michigan and OSU win this week. If either lose, then they will be in Oxford.
