You are not even JOKING about Giordano's...that is the best pizza, bar none, I've ever had. The last time my husband and I were in Chicago visiting his relatives last year, we ate Giordano's three times (we were there for four days.) I didn't want pizza for about a month after that, but it's incredible.

I would have to go with a shrimp poboy if we're keeping within the $20 range and maybe some cheese fries from The Chimes (there's a place here in Dallas called Snuffer's that has even better ones than The Chimes. One doesn't "order" cheese fries @ Snuffer's, they are "issued @ the door.")

My mom's shrimp poboy is the best on earth, though. So, I guess I'd just have good ol' Mom cook me one if I popped a cap in someone.

It would have to be a all day thing for me too, I don't eat a lot at one time, but I eat a little all day long.

Well, I haven't given this much thought. I've mainly just been having a hankerin' lately.:hihi: I don't know if any of you are familiar, but there was this restaurant in Hammond called Jordan's on Cate Street back in the day that every now and then would serve an Abita Amber Cheddar Soup. I only had the pleasure of partaking of it once, but I would probably do something illegal for a bowl right about now! Anyone know of a place that serves anything similar? I'll be back home for Christmas and up for an exquisite dining experience!!

ive actually thought about this before and it consisted of almost everything you have there except a few alterations.

    Waffle House breakfast with everything-
    $7 fried eggs/bacon/hashbrowns/waffles/grits
    $3 gumbo
    $6 fried fish
    $4 6 pack of milwaukee's best

i didnt think of chesterfried but I could do some of that too.
