Did anyone else notice that Chevis Jackson had a small slip just before going up for the block. I think if he had not slipped he makes that play.

To be honest, I didn't notice the slip, but when the ball was floating in, and Chevis had his eyes on it the entire time, I was standing up and already yelling: "That's gonna be a PICK!" ....only to be left in anguish watching their receiver come down with the ball...

I thought Chevis played it GREAT, he did all he could do. Cox made a perfect throw, to a much taller receiver who was in a good position, and we got beat by a perfect throw and catch. Chevis made many other great plays, and we're going to miss him next year.

This is our year. If we don't get it done this year, it may be a while before we're in a position to make another run at a title. Next year, we'll be a very young team, with the hard games on the road. We gotta do it now!

That was an awesome throw, and I, like you, thought it was going to be a pick. Man I couldnt believe he caught that.

Great job all around just better throw.

How right you are! Not to be too hard on the guy, but if Kentucky was any indication of things to come, then Jai had better start doubling up on his practice time in preperation to be a starter next season.

mosdef. the commentators suck (but they are some of the best out there). dont know why they didnt mention it. he didnt make a bad decision. just didnt make a play. bottom line. he wasnt fooled though so the chances of it happening again are slim.

Totally agree with your take on the commentator team. CBS sucks real bad. It's amazing how many things we see that should be talked about and they can't see it. I thought the guys in the trucks were suppose to be all over everything and tell them what to talk about and send up the images. They really missed the Chevis Jackson slip bad.

I couldn't fault Jackson for going for the ball. Anything less than a perfect throw, and he was in position to make the game-saving pick.

I hope somehow ESPN picks up the LSU/Bama game even though it's not likely. As bad as the ESPN commentators are, I don't think I can take any more of the CBS ones.
