Did anybody else notice that we blitzed a linebacker and played bump and run on the corners? What in the heck was Pelini saving it for?? We have great atheletes let them use their ability stop trying to cover up a flaw in a zone. I hope Les is beating the **** out of Bo right about now!!

I did notice that we came up to the line in that last series as well.

What happened Saturday has been hashed over and over, we will see against Tennessee if it was just a brain fart by the defensive staff or a sign of what we will see all season.

apparently teppellini had over the total of 53 1/2 and wanted to ensure he covered.

then on the last drive he realized we could win the game as well. a win/win for bo.

Um, we got totally lucky on the last play. Bad pass/dropped ball.

You could say lucky or... could it be that we finally put some pressure on the QB.

Not bad pass, lucky, or dropped ball. The Cox replay had a better camera angle on that play that shows Kyle Williams got some of that pass. The ball passed right between his upstretched arms and appears to have brushed one of those meatpipes! :thumb:

The Arizona State Quarterback never threw a good pass after Highsmith put his shoulder into his rib cage on the blitz.
Hagans, in his post game interview, acknowledged that LSU changed their coverage on the last drive and disrupted their scheme.
