LaRon Landry: Is this a mistake or projected position

ESPN list him as a CB here. I thought he would be drafted as a Safety.

He is listed as "very versatile" in nearly every scouting report Ive read, plus he played some CB his freshman year so it wouldnt totally surprise me. With that said, however, Id be willing to bet that its a mistake.

 

Thats got to be a typo, he was our starting safety all 4 years here. He's known as a hard hitter, and thats what safeties are.

 

No folks, the NFL scouts are predicting him as the first "Safety" taken in the draft. Every analyst is amazed at his skills as a "Safety", so my guess is he will play as safety in the NFL.

 

First or second safety at this point, depending on the workouts. Reggie Nelson (UF) is definitely in the mix.

And there's no way he plays CB, primarily because he can't at that level.

 

Would have been 4 if Dorsey would have declared. Not that I'm complaining.

 

If Landry was a true CB, he'd be drafted in the top 5 ...... but he's not.

I can tell you this much ..... landry is getting a ton of pub here in Atlanta. Dunno whether it's wheat or chaff, but there's a lot of talk about him coming to the Falcons. I hope so because he's be fun to watch in the Falcons new scheme ......

I know this may shock you, but ESPN makes a lot of mistakes concerning sports sporgramming. :nope:

 

He definitely will play safety. Mother Mouse Ears has made another error by listing him as a CB....
