Opelika, AL - Though not qualifying for the female national invitational tournament, The Lady Auburn Tigers (or commonly known around the plains as the "Lady Souljahs") have claimed the Womens title even before the tournament has ended. When Questioning head coach Nell Fortner she stated: "Well you might not know this, but our football team won the People's national championship and the golf digest pick for the number one team in america. So we thought that we should just claim the championship. I mean we could just claim it now, rather then wait an extra week, you know? I mean, we thought we were the best, who cares about a trophy?" When questioned on whether or not the team thought that was a little absurd, the starting senior Guard Natasha Brackett interjected with: "Of course it's not absurd, I mean if we think we are the best, then why can't we crown ourselves champions? Whats wrong with that?" So theres a couple games left in the tournament, but of course to the Auburn lady tigers, none of this "non-sense" will matter. In their eyes, they will always call themselves the "2005 Womens National Champions of Basketball". Raquetball Weekly could not be reached for comment.:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
No wonder you guys have to upgrade to such hefty servers...the amount of bullsh!t that you have to wade through on this forum is incredible. Money well spent I'm sure. Keep up the great work guys. :dis:
Not much to talk about bro. it was just a joke... Mocking the football team "claiming a championship" rather than winning one. eh... I thought it was funny.
