Lady Tigers pull in #2 point guard.

Destini Hughes, ranked #17 overall by Hoopgurlz and the #2 ranked point guard in 2008 has verballed to Van.

I read the article on Hoopgurlz & they did not mention S Black in the list of LSU Comittments. wonder why that is... or is she not comitted? Any way... great news.. thanks..

 

You shouldn't be surprised, LSU has been a hot program lately and Van has a resume that matches or betters anyone he is recruiting against. He also has a reputation as a straight shooter and a top notch coach. I'm just looking forward to seeing LSU set it's first pick or screen in the last 4 years, that alone should make the team better.

 

NoDakSt, what do you think are Van's chances with the center from Ohio?

 

I can't really say regarding Dunning. I know she released a podcast in July and that she is interested in LSU, Ohio State, Rutgers, Illinois and maybe USC but since then she hasn't played her cards very openly.

 

If Van can land Dunning and Sykes that would be the icing on the cake.

 

Thats great news. We really need a post player at this point. Dunning and Sykes would be AWESOME.

I think that part of the draw to the LSU program is not only Van but the potential to be a starter your first year in college.
