La JoP Refuses to Marry Mixed Race Couple

what a terrible image for the state. a justice of the peace in hammond refuses to marry a mixed race couple. out of concern for the children they might have. yeah, right. this guy says he's not a racist. bs!

he needs to have his license pulled.

lasalle has mentioned before trying to protect his daughter from racists and bigots that look down on mixed race marriages and children. i can see why. the jop in this article says he refuses to perform the marriages because so many dont accept mixed race children, but i suspect HES the one who doesnt.

should the state sanction this guy? pull his license?

and i'll say right now. i want a discussion on this topic, not rantings and sound bites on "the brotherhood", juris doctors, and other such bull**** that is nothing more than promoting a personal agenda. save it for your own threads.

I do however find it surprising that people get in an uproar about this but not about letting gay marriage to be legal.

The same argument applies to those challenged by Obama's skin color yet they praise Jindal. Go figure.
