Matt Mauck threw for over 300 yards and a 90% completion percentage in about a half of football. Yes, we all know La Tech's pass defense is pitiful, but a 90% completion rate is about what one would expect from dropped balls, miscommunications about routes, and inaccurate passes IF THERE WAS NO DEFENSE AT ALL. Even against La Tech, this was a great performance by Mauck and the Tiger receivers. Mauck's passing efficiency numbers are going to go way up with 4 TD's, zero INT's and 90% completions.
