Neltner, Smeltner doesn't make a difference he is going to need coaching to improve much and right now he doesn't have it. He also has not been impressive in his limited time thus far, thats not to say he won't be a super star at some time in the future but he isn't yet. Many of the current team members show flashes of great talent but without coaching it will be potential unrealized. :geaux: :lsug:

He must have some kind of talent if he was Kentucky's Mr. Basketball.

Neltner's as green as grass in Tiger Stadium on Saturday night. He is just plain raw. He is the kind of player that will work his butt off in the offseason to improve. He will be an awesome 6th man in the years to come, and may work his way into starting at small forward. Given the opportunity, he can shoot the rock, too. Expect great things from this kid.

I understand TwistedTiger's frustrations. All these flashes of talent will begin to gel. These guys will get more comfortable with each other, and will become more cohesive. Now, if we can get an offensive minded asst to come here and spruce things up, we can begin to take advantage of some of this underdeveloped talent that is gushing from the seams.

Neltner, for all of his hustle and passing skills, just doesn't have any athleticism. He can shoot the ball relatively well but right now he is a liability on defense. Several times last night Foust had a wide open 3 because Neltner was playing 6 feet off of him, fearing that Foust would drive by him.

Koundjia has great potential and athleticism. He just can't hit the broad side of a barn with his shot. It seems like he is too excited to get his shot off during the games. With his height and jumping ability, he should take a nice smooth shot because no one will be able to block it. Hopefully this offseason he can work on it and come back next year improved.

Koundja & Whipple should not be playing. We are down to six players. Who else should not be playing?

great point LSU, we don't even have anybody else we can play. Actually, I think Charlie might have been better than Whipple. I wonder how Whipple has gotten worse while he ahs been here. I blame the coach. I mean, where are the fundamentals people?
