I know you have to live and die with freshman but I would play Neltner before Koundja would ever go in the game. What has he ever done that Neltner hasn't done. another thing.... I would be starting Tack Minor, you have to take the good with the bad and if it wasn't for him tonight we would've lost by 30 points. I promise you one thing, with Minor and Neltner in the game we wouldn't have 8 minute scoring droughts in every other game...... please make a argument why I'm wrong, lets be civilized
ok i definitely agree w/ minor; however, nelter sucks just as bad as koundjia on the offensive end nelter is just too tentative...if we could replace koundjia's aggressiveness and give that to nelter, then i agree nelter would be the better player
Minor gives you both great and horrible but Nelter has done nothing other than hussle. When the offense is struggling the way LSU's has recently you try anyone to try and wake it up. Bring on Josh!!!!
What are you saying? I've seen him make some great passes and he's already hit more shots than Koundja all year, I've seen him rebound. And how about that 180 degree turn and lay up on the fast break the last game? Neltner that is I don't know what LSU student and Twisted Tiger are talking about with Neltner have you guys watched the last 2 games? Has anyone seen what I've seen Neltner do the last few games? btw the last 2 games when Koundja is in we lost the lead, anyone notice?
Kounja and Whipple suck. Period. I would be amazed if Whipple is shooting over 20% from the field this year. I have no doubt that half the people on this board would demolish Whipple in a game of horse.
Yes I watched them and on an average team Nelter would be the weakest link by far. Unfortunately on this team he may be one of the strongest links which isn't saying much. He may develope into a really good player but right now he and many of his teammates look very very average at best. What they need is a coach that knows how to develope talent and put his players in position to have success. Right now that doesn't exist at LSU. :geaux: :lsug:
With Whipple you have what you will have this time next year, a point guard that could not start on any other team in the SEC. With Minor you have a raw talented athlete. If he is in the game you will have a lot of mistakes. With coaching he can improve. He is not going to improve sitting on the bench.
