He had all sorts of crazy comments during the game. How about on USC's opening drive, their WR caught a pass over the middle and was running threw a couple of tackles and Jackson was saying the ball was bouncing around on the ground and no one could get and all along the WR had the ball...he also said how crazy it was going to be down in Baton Rouge for the Sugar Bowl where the game was being player...I believe it's time for him to retire again.
There were a few other moments like that one, but I can't remember them. I almost thought I was watching the wrong game be listening to his comments.
I used to respect Jackson as a broadcaster. In his prime, he was the best. In his advancing years, his West Coast bias is evident in every game he broadcasts. It's time for him to permanently retire and he can take Fouts with him.
