It seems kerry like the new york times, have no problems lying to the public. The times taking a 19 month old story about tons of weapons, and reporting it as new news a week before election.(causing rex to lose sleep. may be a law suit here rex) Kerry lying about his meeting with the security council during his debate with President Bush. Its a sad day when a supposed hero turns out to be nothing more than a common liar. :thumb: http://washingtontimes.com/national/20041024-110609-9428r.htm
in defense of "honest" John, I think what he probably meant was he met with the members of the security council who were being bribed and were getting rich from Saddam in the oil for food scandal. these are the members who assured him the sanctions were working and everything was going well.
Bush invades on false premises, guarded the Oil Ministry instead of the ammo depots, 380 tons of explosives are being used against our troops DAILY, soldiers are dying and being blown apart from those bombs, the UN was chased away from guarding those important sites, and you're angry that Kerry met with SOME of the Security Council (and by all evidences the most important members) instead of ALL of them? That's your outrage? Grow a conscience, please.
Old news, and to a man, they are denying having met with kerry. The truth is nothing that has ever stood in the way of kerry seeking power. You miss the point rexy,(not really because you have your own deceit you're putting forth) kerrys deceit is intended to make people believe that world leaders stand behind him, and support his policies. In reality, he's nothing more than a disgruntled (candyass) vet turned gigalo, that wouldn't recognize the truth if it were wrapped up as a billionheiress. :thumb:
Lying probably isn't a topic Bush supporters should bring up. But since it has been . . . there is a book written about it. The Other Lies of George Bush by David Corn This article was adapted from the new book, The Lies of George W. Bush: Mastering the Politics of Deception (Crown Publishers). George W. Bush is a liar. He has lied large and small, directly and by omission. His Iraq lies have loomed largest. In the run-up to the invasion, Bush based his case for war on a variety of unfounded claims that extended far beyond his controversial uranium-from-Niger assertion. He maintained that Saddam Hussein possessed "a massive stockpile" of unconventional weapons and was directly "dealing" with Al Qaeda--two suppositions unsupported then (or now) by the available evidence. He said the International Atomic Energy Agency had produced a report in 1998 noting that Iraq was six months from developing a nuclear weapon; no such report existed (and the IAEA had actually reported then that there was no indication Iraq had the ability to produce weapons-grade material). Bush asserted that Iraq was "harboring a terrorist network, headed by a senior Al Qaeda terrorist planner"; US intelligence officials told reporters this terrorist was operating ouside of Al Qaeda control. And two days before launching the war, Bush said, "Intelligence gathered by this and other governments leaves no doubt that the Iraq regime continues to possess and conceal some of the most lethal weapons ever devised." david corn, now there is an unbiased opinion. red you're better than this, at least I'm pointing out that the very people kerry said he met with say he is lying. This crap david cornhole says, is the very thing everyone believed to be true, including john heinz kerry. Is this not just a total case of democrats willing to say and do anything, just so long as a democrat gets in the white house. Very Pathetic, with the things going on in the world today
The crap you spew, and you have the audacity to ask me to grow a conscience. How about you grow a pair. Still waiting to hear where your govt. funds come from.
That's pretty good coming from someone who admits that he's advised his nephew to commit a felony (desertion).
