He's as good as any, I would suppose...

    for such a superfluous bureaucracy.

What I find interesting about the election is that New Yorkers voted 75% for Kerry... the people most affected by terrorist attacks and most likely to be affected in the future were quite aware of who actually was responsible, and of the pitfalls of attacking the wrong people.

i dont know any more about kerik than anyone else. kerik seems like an ok guy to me. i talk sports with the locals, not government. i do like that a guy who knows the immediacy of the problem is getting the job.

A law enforcement professional should be far better than Ridge in the nuts an bolts of plugging the holes in homeland security. We'll just have to see if he has the business/political expertise to direct as big a department as Homeland Security now is. Washington is rough on players who haven't developed a thick political skin.

    Good point Rex.

Bush lost another cabinet member today Tommy Thompson. That makes 8 people that cant stand to work for Bush anymore. He is about to pass Clinton for new cabinet members during his second term.
