    Justin Vincent-Rushing statistics, 2003
    13 games played
    138 attempts
    905 yards gained
    884 net yards
    9 Touchdowns
    68.0 yards per game

    Kevin Faulk-Rushing Statistics, 1995
    12 games played
    174 attempts
    852 yards gained (net)
    6 Touchdowns
    71.0 yards per game

One more game played, less games started, much less attempts, and most of all, more yardage and touchdowns.

All of this with MUCH more offensive talent around him, many more mouths to feed, and a passing offense that is MUCH more potent and leaned on than that of DiNardo's offenses first year.

    This is scary fellas...

Hey...I said the same thing. I thought after one of the games( I can't remember which one) that he maybe best suited as a Josh Reed type WR...We were both wrong...:D:D

That is what i thought too. And he would really look like JR with that #25.

Just think of the number that Vincent would have put up if he would have started every game this year.

Also remember JV played more on the special teams the first 3-4 games, its not until SC and JA get hurt that he gets to carry the ball more than 6 times in one game.

In terms of offense, you're right, JV could very well be better than Kevin Faulk before his time here is done. But you have to also take into account HOW MUCH Kevin did over-all: Punt returns, kick returns, majority of the RB duties.... You can't put a price tag on that and it's certainly NOT easy to put up the offensive numbers that K. Faulk did WHILE doing all the other stuff. That has a lot to say about his conditioning...

I'm talking Kevin's freshman campagin versus Justin's frosh season...

If I'm not mistaken, Eddie Kennison handled all special teams returns during Faulk's freshman year on campus...

Just a comparison of their first years..nothing more. KF had NO special teams duties in that initial season.
