I'm so pissed at the state of our nation and the lack of justice in this country. I'm really upset about this 11 year old girl that was kidnapped and killed the past few days. This guy had a background along with being charged with kidnapping before. He's been arrested once a year since 1993. Why is it that we hear about this more and more often now days? Why is it that someone is out living scott free when they should be in jail because their a danger to society or background? I wouldn't be so upset if this kind of thing hadn't happened over and over and over! How many kids and people will have to die at the hands of these kind of people because thier let out of prison with a rap sheet? I have to blame Kennedy and whoever else is responsible for the lack of morals in our country because of separation of church and state for 1 thing. Do we fill safe letting our kids play outside and do normal things that I did when I was a kid? My son is almost 3 and I'm finding myself in a delimma about him playing outside or even walking to the bus because of all the kids disappearing the last few years. There is a sniper shooting around I-25 here in Denver now. A baby was shot in the head and looks like might recover but who knows what damage is done to this baby. A pack of dogs got out in Elizabeth, a small town southeast of Denver and killed quite a few people. The police were dealing with too many problems at the time meanwhile the dogs were killing people.. Like I've always said, It's up to you to protect you and your family, the police always get there just soon enough to file a report or a missing persons report.
I don't understand how they can keep letting convicted child molesters out of jail over and over. Anybody convicted more than once should get an automatic life sentence.
After years of studying high profile child molestation cases and their particulars, including cases of second and third offender crimes, and the successful infiltration of the Catholic Church in America by radical homosexuals and man/boy lover advocates, I am forced to conclude that there is only one adequate solution to the problem. Pedophilia is a serious psychological/sexual disease. There is no cure. There are very few effective treatments. Child molesters often have the highest rates of recitivism of any convicted felons in our justice system. It is often said that once a pedophile crosses the line and acts out his fantasy on a child, you can rest assured he will do it again if ever given the opportunity. There is only one solution: when a person in our justice system is convicted of a sexual offense against a child, he or she immediately must be committed to a special facility for such offenders for the rest of their natural life, permanently isolated from society forever. Release from this facility is never an option. While at this facility, the offender will spend every day of his life doing one of four things; eating, sleeping, working to perform some service to society, and several hours a day in the most intense emotional and psychiatric therapy imaginable in an attempt to break them of their sickness. Is it cruel? Is it draconian? Is it unjust? Speak with the victims of these horrible crimes, some of them as young as three years old. Look at the recitivism rates. Look at the treatment success rates. Then you be the judge. Speak to the offenders themselves. They will tell you with their own mouths, in their own words, that they are monsters. That they will do it again if ever left in a position to take advantage of a child. Many a second or third time child molester has begged a judge to lock him up and throw away the key because he knew he couldn't stop.
You propose a more "humane" solution than I do. I would cut their balls off and shove them down their pieholes. A thief, drug dealer or even a murderer who has killed during a moment of passion and loss of control can potentially be rehabilitated. Not so with child molesters. Why put these monsters in a special facility and give them therapy that won't work anyway? Even the most hardened convicts hate the child molesters they encounter in prison. Throw the perverts into the general prison population where the other convicts will make sure that what remains of their miserable lives will be a living hell.
