Just since we are all speculating. Any chance OSU gets left out?

Although I don't think they should be a slam dunk to get in, I think they are - because the human polls hold so much weight now.

No, I don't really think they should be either.. Ohio St vs. LSU is a good game

Right now it looks like a 3 horse race ...

But the OU and USC will get some love in the polls.

Several things on our resume ..

    1) beat Va Tech by 41 pts
    2) Champions of the SEC
    3) Both losses came in Triple OT
    4) Overall strength of schedule- we beat 8 bowl eligible teams; anyone else do that???

yes, a very slight chance it could be LSU vs Va Tech, all you have to do as humans is leave OSU at #3. VTech and LSU should have a slight lead over OSU in the computer polls when all is said and done

In my poll, I would vote:

    1. LSU
    2. Virginia Tech
    3. Ohio State

Ohio State just didn't prove much of anything. Michigan proved to run out of gas the last 2 weeks of the season and totally banged up. Had Michigan been a top 10 team entering the OSU tilt, I would give a lot more creedance to OSU. But that didn't happen. They have a pretty thin looking resume.

Virginia Tech and LSU both finish in the top 10 in the SOS. Ohio State #48.

Virginia Tech's only losses to LSU and BC (a team they beat the 2nd time around). Pretty damn impressive. You think they want that 10-0 lead with 3 minutes to go back right now? Mulligan?
