Bruno Mars will be their guy. And the Beatles don't do much for me either. We all live in a yellow submarine a yellow submarine a yellow submarine.
Yes I do have some barry manilow but if you look at my old records you will see some of evey type of music. The point is whatever music that you connect with usually brings you happiness and can take you to a time or place. I also like Kiss, van halen acdc Hank Williams Jr and senior, George Jones, I could go on and on because I love many diverse singers. Neil Diamond and The Commodores. We played Copa Cabana in our halftime show in high school and people loved it. Take my man card if you must but I can sense your fear of Disco taking over again and it has left you cold and shivering. And nobody puts CALCO in a corner Get a coat baby cause Disco is back.
Sure, when we discuss the topic, Bruno's name comes up, and I like him, but he still doesn't have that iconic status that huge stars in the past had.
100% NOT the Doobies, Everly Brothers maybe. I'm sure someone over the age of 112 like @Kikicaca can come along and set the record straight but that was NOT the Doobies.
You're missing the point. Elvis, The Beatles, and Michael Jackson were iconic with teens during their heydays. Bruno is awesome, but he's not an icon of a generation. They don't have an icon, but they love them some youtubers.
