Absolutely NO flaming here! Looks guys, I dislike LSU as much as you guys dislike us. My dislike of your team comes in the form of RESPECT. In the fact that you guys can whoop some a** on any given day and are always in the running. The thing that kind of gets me is all the back and forth about the calls. Boy do I know what that feels like! Auburn has lost their fair share of games on calls, as I am sure that LSU has won a few on calls that other teams b*tched about. The truth of the matter is that this was smash mouth football in the purest form. A game to remember. I agree that Brown was OOB. So no whining about that one. However, the PAT penalty was a legit (albeit stupid) one. If you TIVO as I do, during any given week you can go back and watch again and see a thousand calls that were not made, or made wrong. Such is the course of college football. I, (along with another fan who called and saw it) saw a blatant face mask against an LSU guy. Know what, the reps did not see it. I am sure that it happens at least 2-3 times in a game. Calls were not made against us, and calls were not made against you. A few really class act LSU fans have come on our board and congratulated us on a hard game won. I think you guys have a top caliber team. I only wish that I saw some respect on this board for us instead of comments like "we lost to an inferior team", and "they were just lucky". I think we stand a good chance of beating Georgia, it is Tennessee on the road that I am worried about. Peace out to you guys and good luck the rest of the season....
we all said good win, but the call was lucky. Even the so called "experts" are saying it this morning. But, you win some and you lose some. We did not execute on offense, and our defense choked in the clutch. good win for Auburn. not sure if you beat Georgia and Tennessee as those are games played later in the season and they will have their crap together by then. good luck to your team.....next year it is our turn!
Sorry, but Auburn was lucky. Your team is a top 25 team but don't get too excited. Your defense will implode against a decent offensive team. Tubby's stupid decisions are going to cost you a game or 2. He is incapable of accepting that 4th down is a time to cut your losses. Punt to change the field position, or take the 3 points. He cannot grasp that concept. See you in the Peach Bowl (maybe against LSU :grin: ).
That's all you got? I gave my opinion of Auburn's future success. I said they were lucky and they were? They ovecame Tubby's bonehead decision and beat LSU because LSU's offense is not yet ready to tackle the SEC wars. The difference between you and me is that I stated it as matter of fact and not like a whining little crumb crusher.
Well our coaching made some bad decisions too. We shouldn't have wasted that last drive before that half. Not when we were only up 6 points and they got the ball to start the second half. That was sissy. Plus, I think we should have blitzed a little more. That was our deal last year and it worked on every QB we played against. This year we aren't doing it as much, and I don't get it. But still, we lost the game guys, get over it. Maybe they are a little inferior in raw talent, but they were not the inferior team yesterday. They played well. Their D was solid, and Campbell looks like he learned how to throw. Stop blaming anyone but our team, and give credit where it's due. They outplayed us. They won. Move on.
And what would you have said if our struggling offense turned the ball over deep in Auburn territory and gone into the half down 10-9.

Whatever, dude. After the NC last season some of us said "wait until we lose". "The love affair will be over." You cannot see beyond your own little circle. I just cannot understand how guys like you can be so damned critical of a coaching staff that has nothing to prove to anyone. Qusetion all you want. Seek the answers. But try not to come across as such a freakin' crybaby. That's what pisses me off about you.
