Couple of comments then I will probably tune out for awhile. I was flat out depressed all weekend and left the Saints game early just because "I was still bitter"

    1. For those of you bashing Saban and Mauck - You must be kidding. We lost the game. Mauck played terribly, no question but I remember all the good he has done. I still support Mauck.

And Saban ? Please that guy is the best thing to happen to this program since Mac. I applaud him for everything he does and hope the boos did not effect the recruiting he tries so hard to excel in....

2.The only question I have for Saban is Jimbo Fisher ? In both UGA and UF he had some very very very questionable calls
    A. 4-2 still have a chance and you run an option when it has not worked all day against a fired up Defense that has not given up anything
    B. 3-4 on many occasions and you run 2 yard out patterns ?? At least run routes that cross the 1st down marker ?? Jeez !!!!
    C. Throw down field once ?? At the end ?? No wonder we could not move the ball.
    D. GET THE DAMN BALL TO CLAYTON !!!!

    3. Penalties - The Tiger played poorly. COngrats to UF but LSU handed them that win. They won, but LSU made it pretty easy for them....

    4. The fans were pathetic. We were going through the motions all day. Saban tried to warn us, but we were like yeh whatever its Zook and UF. Should be another MSU game.. We did not have the fire we had against UGA and UF fed from that... Myself included I just sat and pouted the entire game... Staring at the concrete.

LSU looked as bad as I have ever seen them since Saban got here. It equals the performance against UAB.

I hate to say this, but Auburn is clearly the best team in the west as of this Monday. If that is our offense against top notch defenses like Auburn. We are in for a long season from here on at. AUburn will school us... I hope i am wrong but Auburn has turned it around, and LSU appears to have started another possible mid season meltdown like last year. At least that is the feeling i have right now. Beat USC and Auburn and we are back on top.
Its Auburns to lose right now.

Now that I have vented. I am tuning out, I need a break that really really sucked... I will watch on Saturday cheer for the Tigers and hope they can turn it around.

#10 is a joke right now. But I still think Saban is the best thing to happen to LSU sports since Mac. We are still lucky he has gotten us to where we are.

In short Lay off Saban and Mauck. We lost.. End of Story. The only one that needs to answer some things is Jimbo Fisher. To Saban.... We shall see how our team responds after this. The season is still theirs to grab, they can still win the SEC, they can still have a stellar season. We will see if they rise above all the negative the fans are tossing out and the media.

    Geaux Tigers
    Beat the Cocks.

I sit in the N Endzone right above the tunnel. We all talked about it when they came out that they looked a little flat. They were no where near as jazzed up as when they came out against UGA.

I thought the crowd was really into it after the punt return. I thought that would get the players back to where they needed to be. It never happened.

Just like UF following their loss to Ole Miss, look for LSU to go into USC highly motivated in what they feel is a must-win game to restore their focus on their pyramid of goals. Look for Nick and Jimbo to have a nice long chat about the offense this week, and I would expect to see some different things in the pass game.

I think Saban is ready to do some tinkering with Jimbo and the offense. Did y'all catch this snippet from Sunday's Advocate?

Agree with everything you said in your post but the above. Florida's pathetic offense gave ya'll every chance to come back all the way until the very end of the game and you never took advantage of it once.

LSU and it's superior coaching and players didn't hand Florida that win, Florida took it.

If we had any other D1 Offensive Coordinator in the country we would have hung 35+ points on you easy. Ya'll all know how horrible an OC Zaunbrecher is.

It could have been a lot worse....

Soviet, did you have a good time besides the score...

Floridas D played very well. I hope I did not give the impression that LSU handed Florida the win. Florida played very very well. That was a poor choice of words. My point was LSU did not give UF much of a fight with 1st and 30s and penalty after penalty.
I guess my point, is LSU did not play its A game, or D game for that matter and it appears UF did with no interceptions and solid D play. When you in the SEC that spells L.

You took your Girlfriend or Wife or something ??

Did you guys have fun ? (Besides the game outcome)

Also does this win saves Zooks job ?

One thing is for sure, if the offense doesn't get turned around, Saban has shown in the past to have very little patience with assistant coaches. He has made statements over the past couple of weeks that leads me to believe he is getting a little impatient with Jimbo. His statement about having an offensive identity if right on. We don't work to the other teams weaknesses in my opinion. We lost, I was not a fun person to be around after the game. It' Monday, we're ranked #10 and we have the Cocks this week. Let's get back on track Tigers.

    Texas,

Understand your point now, thanks for the clarification.

This win doesn't save Zook's job, he will need to beat more than LSU and Vandy to save it. If he recruits poorly this winter and starts next season the same way as this one he will be canned and Charlie Strong will be the interim coach if Strong doesn't leave during the offseason for a head coaching position.

I put my gameday experience on this thread,

    Texas,

Of course not. Vandy is the only guaranteed win left on our schedule. We got lucky Saturday. Our defense and special teams played great, I was pi$$ed our stagnant offense could only muster 19 lousy points.

A lot of things fell into place Saturday for us to be able to pull the upset, that won't happen every weekend until the end of the season. :dis:

    Your Dreamin!!!!!

1st of all, Spurrier isn't on the sidelines running your offense.

2nd of all, We don't have Tepper or whatever his name running
    a 3-4 defense.

3rd of all, If no major injuries, NO ONE will be able to score 35
points on this defense all year.

    Your Lucky to get 19!!
You would've got that if our defense would've played 3 quarters
    of the game
