To me WV is a poor version of the Oregon Ducks They can't run the ball and they had a hard time stopping the run This will shock some of you but I see a shut out on Sat night in Mountain country. Our guys will be ready for what these guys are going to bring and we can get all the pressure we want with our front 4. We play a 4-2-5 and what are these guys going to do? PUNT and PUNT often We will score enough and the game will be a snooze in the 2nd half ! LSU - 31 WV - 0 LSU!:LSU231::LSU231::LSU231:LSU!
Tiger Cliff basic analysis is dead on. The Tigers D will eat the eeers up and we should score well. A shutout is possible abd would be wonderful, but tough in today's enviorment. :thumb:
It will boil down to ball hog offense, and a speedy LSU defense vs speedy short passing attacks......
WVU's only chance to win this game is big returns on special teams and LSU turning it over deep in it's own territories. WVU will not sustain a 10+ play drive all game long. WVU will also have to employ their backup QB at some point.
I'm more of a glass half empty football fan. I'll go LSU 20-13....edge of my couch til last second.....
College Gameday in Morgantown,.. rabid WV fans are going to be pumped, and their team will feel it too. Mountaineers get off to a good start,.. and then wilt. LSU 30-17
I am not going to predict a blowout, but I will be shocked if LSU loses this game. I think the team that beats LSU (if it happens) will do so in a low scoring grind it out defensive style (basically, beating LSU at their own game). I have a hard time seeing a team beating LSU with offense, and I don't think WVU's D is good enough.
