First day back at work since the SC trip, and I am ready to take this week off tomorrow to prepare for the Auburn game. I will admit this, the SC game felt like a home game for LSU in my opinion, I was 6 rows behind the band, and the crowd for the Tigers was load the entire game. I think almost all LSU fans stayed 20 minutes after the game chanting and singing with the band. GREAT SHOWING TIGER FANS! As for the Aubbies, my gut feeling is that Saban will have our boys ready like not other game in his tenure at LSU. Last year's game hurt like hell, and I think he has been preparing the team for this game all season long, although he will never admit to that. This is the biggest game in the SEC this year, and it should be a classic. I predict a record breaking crowd for Tiger Stadium, and victory for LSU. :geaux:
I had a good time on the roadtrip. The SC fans were very polite and had a good time. We gave them a hard time for grilling some chicken, it just aint right to eat your own mascot.
I had an excellent time at USC. Fiday night at Crocodile Rocks was unbelievable! BTW, did anyone else hear all of the LSU fans shouting to USC recruits " Don't be a Cock" over and over? It was too funny.........
i too had a great time in SC. In the RV lot the difference in tailgaiting styles between us and them was night and day. I took a drunken stroll to the south carolina side of the lot, where they had a surprisingly large number of RV's....but, I saw about only 7 cock fans and all they were doing were scratching their ass and looking over towards the carnival that was the LSU section going wild. And I could see the envy in their eyes. Then, when I turned around from the deadness that was the cock fan tailgating area and looked at the LSU area I too was amazed and proud. It truly looked like a festival with thousands of fans strolling around, BBQ pits smoking, loud music, beers being downed, pretty women, and pick up football games. There was even a drunken streaker or two. Definitely good times. On the drive home, we went through Auburn and one loyal LSU tiger fan had placed a fighting tiger sign directly underneath the auburn exit sign. That must have really ticked the auburn fans off...but it sure made me proud yet again.
we did not go out, but we had the karaoke set up at our rv, which ironically broke down in SC and had to be fixed on Saturday. we had a blast, and a lot of the crowd participated as well. even the SC folks got in on the act.
i will neither confirm nor deny the fact of the RPH placing the sign down, but what i will say is this......... pretty soon the world of tailgating will never be the same again oh the suspense is killing me.....more at a later date
Yeah I was one of them..I sat really low, so I was right behind the recruits....it was hilarious After that one of the recruits started chanting "LSU, LSU", then one of the other recruits told him to shut up.....then the crowd started chanting "Go to Clemson, Go to Clemson"....it was priceless
