He spends the first 5 minutes of the BCS show talking about the ADT Trophy and how it goes to the National Champions...THE National Champion he says. Then the next thing out of his mouth is that USC has a chance to defend its National Championship. Are these (media) guys just morons or is it their job to create controversy?
Its all part of their plan. First USC is Co-Champs, then they are Defending Champs, next year we won't have won the trophy at all! USC= Media Darling Frauds
yep...USC could have lost to Cal last night and they would STILL be in the orange bowl. the media were SO pissed off that their little babies didnt deserve the title shot last year, that they were going to do whatever it took to see that got in this year.
On a related note, I was listening to ESPN radio this evening on my way home from work and they were talking about the BCS. They mentioned how last year there were three one-loss teams and USC got screwed. Then they began to talk about this year and I thought they would mention that this year Auburn got screwed....but I was wrong. According to these jokers the team that was screwed by the BCS this year was......CAL! Think they are West Coasters?
The big thing that has bothered me today with the Bowl shows is that no one is really sticking up for AU like they did last year for SC. Sure, the situation is different . . . but most are talking like AU should just be happy with the Sugar bid. There are several good bowl matchups this bowl season, of course I want LSU to beat the hell out of Iowa (which should be a good matchup) . . . I want to see OU destroy SC.
I do not understand it either. Last year I thought the Natl title game should have been USC-LSU because a team that does not win its conference does not deserve a shot at the Natl title. I would have cheered for LSU regardless though. What I don't understand is USC got screwed last year because they didn't get to go to the Natl championship and they had a LOSS?? Yet we are undefeated this year and we didn't get screwed? hm...kinda weird!
Not weird at all ... College FB Coaches have an Auburn "perception" This is why Auburn was screwed by the Coaches Poll ... this is what America's Coaches & especially SEC Coaches ... see in their mind when they think of AU ... Azzclowns like CTT reap what they sew ... Interest is compounded anally ... ahhhheemmm ... annually too :hihi:
