It's not April 1st. Just, wow. So last week, a story leaked that JRob had been "fired". Swann tried some CYA and the University leaked (nothing official) that his position as Heritage Initiative Chair was dissolved as part of a budget decision. What a damn disgrace. JRob has been a great and loyal ambassador for USC Football and is one of the nicest men in the game. For USC to have done him this way is despicable. He's not a spring chicken but players love the guy.

  2. This is interesting, but what is the value?
  3. I met him at a crawfish boil a couple of years ago. He loves him some LSU. We should be honored to have him.

Sorry for your loss vball, the man is a legend and SC did him dirty. I just hope we can give him a home he can appreciate
  4. you guys are in business now, Robinson is an Oregon alum and ex assistant coach

  5. I didn't know he was still alive.
  6. The first thing I thought when I saw this was "student body right." After a second it dawned on me ... that was McKay, not Robinson, right?
  7. @uscvball @CajunlostinCali I am still searching for the value... since we are getting more West Coast players, does this lend credibility or anything to recruiting the west side?

  8. There is not a HS coach in California that won't take his call. But more so, he is a great mentor. His age is not, to me, a reflection of his abilities, but rather the insight he can bring to a program. Between the youth of Brady and the experience of JR, the perspectives will be well rounded.

  10. He's almost 84 years old and has been away from the game for 15 years. Like @watson1880 I don't understand what value he brings to the team. I know him and O are tight but I think this is carrying their relationship a bit too far.
