John Brady must have the highest defection rate of any NCAA b-ball coach in USA

    Not including defections to the NBA, Brady either recruits the wrong type of kids or people just don't like to play for him.

    Including NBA defections (and let's be honest, neither Bass nor Thomas' games were truly NBA ready, and the same goes for Davis), I'm counting 7 leaving before their eligibility was complete in the last 4 years.

    Is'nt there a new rule that if players leave your program early and don't graduate you could lose scholarships?

    I doubt it. If true, it's not fair. How do you convence a kid not to go pro, particularly if he has a shot of going in the first two rounds. Same thing for transfers. Sometimes a transfer is best for all sides.

    LOL! yeah that #4 overall selection for Tyrus really had to suck. NBA ready or not Tyrus made the right decision to leave.
